Roberts branched out of his DJ work to co-host with Jeanne Beker in the music magazine, The NewMusic on City-TV from 1979 until 1985. Roberts and his team won so many awards for their works during their time. He also served as the entertainment reporter for City-TV and also hosted some special occasions.
